We recently had the opportunity to visit Sacred Passages in Wimberley, Texas once again. This place is one of the most unique places in Texas to just go and escape from the world for a few days. There is something magical about Sacred Passages. I prepared this video for Rebecca, the owner of the place, to help promote the beautiful Chapel on the grounds as a wedding venue:

Margo Videos:
Recently Fawn and I visited Caddo Lake, a beautiful and mysterious place in northeast Texas. Caddo is predominantly gray and green for most of the year. But this time of year the cypress trees find color! Here is a collage of some photos and drone footage I took while I was there, put to a great rendition of “Shady Grove” by the Appalachian Pickers. I hope you enjoy it! (remember….full screen, High Definition, and max volume if you can!)
This one I made during my recent trip to the Truckee River, near Lake Tahoe, in Nevada and California. I took my drone (Tyrone) with me, and was able to get some nice shots of the rivers and my friends, David and Dalton Joyce. Unfortunately, you will notice that there are no scenes of actual fish in this video!
This next one was made in August, 2014. The filming was done at several locations, including around Montgomery, Thackerville Oklahoma, Huntsville State Park, Tyler, and at Mr. Hand’s farm near Edom, Texas. It was my first attempt at putting together the neat scenes my drone lets me film, along with some great music.
This one is a little more creative, if you don’t mind me saying so! I actually heard the music one day while I was thinking about what my next “film project” would be about, and the music actually wrote out the script for the video….it has such different fun moods to it as you listen to the music, that it was very easy for me to picture what would be happening in the video as the music played, if that makes sense! It was meant to poke fun at myself and the “ups and downs” I’ve had in my short drone piloting career! I obviously borrowed a few clips from some other drone pilots on the Internet (I haven’t personally flown around the Eifell Tower or the Tower Bridge in London, nor am I skilled enough as a pilot to remove a bikini top with my drone!) Hope you enjoy this one.
This next one is my first music video, starring Alycia as lead singer! This was filmed in the beautiful stone chapel at Sacred Passages in Wimberley in June, 2014. The song is one of my favorites, written by Patty Griffin, called “Go Wherever You Want To Go”. It was written about her father, just after he died, and captures what we all hope we’ll experience when we get to the other side.
