On a frosty morning my visible breath
Merges with campfire smoke
Blending together as one flowing stream
Carried on the breeze
Down past the ancient cypress knees
To find the slowly drifting fog
Rising mysteriously from Caddo waters
Just Figuring It Out As I Go Along

On a frosty morning my visible breath
Merges with campfire smoke
Blending together as one flowing stream
Carried on the breeze
Down past the ancient cypress knees
To find the slowly drifting fog
Rising mysteriously from Caddo waters
Love this. Your poetry is so soothing and calm…Just like Caddo Lake!
